The Maker's Market

Join us from June 4 through July 25, 2026, for the CVArts Makers’ Market, featuring the work of talented artists and artisans from across the Columbia Valley.

Meet our Artists in Residence.

As part of our new Artist in Residence Pilot Project, Jaggedy Peaks artists Terry and Shelley McGuire will be demonstrating the art of linocut printmaking during scheduled monthly residency sessions throughout the summer. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about the printmaking process, and see original works inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of the Columbia Valley.

Art From the Heart 2026

Friends, art lovers, and families! Art from the Heart is bringing together (grades K–7) students from the Columbia Valley for a public gallery show in April–May.  
 
The Art Show opens at Pynelogs on Thursday April 2, 2026! Gallery hours are Thursday to Saturday 11am to 4pm.
 
CVA has invited students from across the Columbia Valley to participate in an exhibition celebrating the arts and all their beautiful creations!  The exhibition offers students the opportunity to display their work publicly, fostering creativity and collaboration within our regional artistic community. It showcases work from the Columbia Valley schools between Canal Flats to Spillimacheen. 
 
To honor the 20th anniversary of Art from the Heart, a festival-style celebration with workshops, activities, and performances will be held for the participating schools on May 21, 9:00–2:30 p.m.
 
If your child attends a participating school from Canal Flats to Spillimacheen, you can view their artwork in the gallery at CVA’s Pynelogs Arts and Culture Centre. Let’s celebrate our young artists and their creativity!

Discover the September Exhibition at Pynelogs: Celebrating the Art of Carol Gordon

This September, Pynelogs Cultural Centre is proud to present a month-long solo exhibition dedicated to the remarkable work of Carol Gordon, an accomplished artist whose creative journey spans more than four decades. Known for her ability to weave together painting, photography, and writing, Gordon invites visitors into a world where perception, creativity, and storytelling meet.

The exhibition promises to be a vibrant celebration of artistic expression, offering not only an opportunity to discover her work, but also a series of engaging events that bring audiences closer to the artist’s vision.

We’re excited to announce a brand-new month-long exhibition at the Pynelogs Cultural Centre in Invermere!
This vibrant show features the incredible work of one local photographer and two talented women painters from the Columbia Valley — a celebration of creativity, colour, and local voices in art. Come celebrate local talent and immerse yourself in two fantastic artistic events this summer in the Columbia Valley. Everyone is welcome!
 
A Special Event You Won’t Want to Miss:
Artist Reception – Saturday, August 2 | 2–5 PM
Join us for an inspiring live painting demonstration by the amazing Diana Skelhorne! Chat with Diana, get tips and insights, and watch her bring a canvas to life before your eyes.
Meet the artists in person during this lively afternoon reception! Enjoy a delicious buffet hosted by CVArts, drinks from the Coffee Counter, and live painting session in the artist’s studio corner.
